Dhaka, Aug. 30 -- Prime Minister's Information Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman on Sunday said Bangladesh should reach a stage where activism by journalists is no longer needed and every journalist can express their views fearlessly and provide accurate information.

"We want the death of that kind of activism. We want to see a liberal democratic Bangladesh where any journalist can express their views fearlessly and provide accurate information," he said.
