Dhaka, Aug. 4 -- Fresh campus violence has erupted as activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir clashed at several educational institutions in the capital on Tuesday, leaving dozens injured.

Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of the police camp at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said around 20 people, injured in clashes at Jagannath University (JnU), Dhaka College and Government Madrasah-e-Alia (popularly known as Dhaka Alia Madrasah), were brought to the hospital for treatment.

Among the injured were the principal of Dhaka Alia Madrasah, a journalist, and JCD and Shibir activists.
