Dhaka, May 8 -- The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is planning to establish four new police stations in different parts of the capital to strengthen policing and improve public services.

One proposal has already been sent to the ministry for approval, while the process to establish three more police stations is also underway, said DMP Acting Commissioner Md Sarwar on Friday.

He disclosed the information while speaking to reporters after inaugurating the Khilkhet Police Outpost at Police Officers Housing Society-1 in the city's 300 Feet area.
