Dhaka, March 11 -- Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) on Wednesday instructed its marketing companies to supply octane and petrol to filling stations in divisional cities with a reduced cut in allocation.

According to the new directive, the average reduction in fuel sales in divisional cities has been revised to 15 percent instead of the previously set 25 percent, while filling stations will receive supplies based on the approved allocation chart.

In a notice signed by BPC Director (Marketing) & Deputy Secretary Shahina Sultana, the corporation also instructed that fuel allocation in divisional cities be increased by 10 percent.
