Cumilla, Aug. 9 -- Police recovered nine packets containing the dismembered body parts of a 55-year-old landlady from behind her house in Debidwar municipality of Cumilla on Saturday evening.

The deceased was identified as Farida Begum, wife of Mofizul Islam Bhuiyan of Mohna Residential Area in Chhota Alampur of the municipality.

Farida had been missing since Saturday morning, according to her family.

After failing to find her despite searches in various places, family members made announcements over a loudspeaker in the area.

Later in the afternoon, Farida's nephew Mamun spotted several sacks and packets behind the house. Suspecting something unusual, he went closer and found parts of a dismembered body. Later, police were informed o...
