Dismembered body found in basement in Dhaka's Mugda
Dhaka, May 17 -- Police recovered the dismembered body of an unidentified person, cut into seven pieces and wrapped in polythene, from the basement of a house in the Mugda area of the city on Sunday, though the head was missing.
Acting on information, a team from Mugda Police Station conducted a drive at 'Shahnaz Villa', House No. 260/1 on Abdul Karim Road in Manda 1st Lane around 1:30 pm and recovered the body parts, said Md Jalal Uddin, Inspector (Investigation) of Mugda Police Station.
Police could not immediately identify the victim or determine the age.
He said that they found the body cut into seven pieces inside a polythene bag in the basement.
