Dhaka, Oct. 15 -- State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir on Thursday reaffirmed Bangladesh's commitment to advance regional cooperation among the Asian countries.

While speaking at the plenary session of the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku, the State Minister conveyed Bangladesh's full support to CICA's transformation into a full-fledged international regional organization with a clear legal status, a strengthened Secretariat, predictable financing and effective decision-making.
