Dhaka, June 26 -- Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) on Friday has been honoured with two awards in recognition of its contributions to drug prevention, treatment and awareness activities in Bangladesh.

The awards were presented by Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed at a programme held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka, marking the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026.

Iqbal Masud, Director of the Health Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Chapter of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), and Mizanur Rahman, Manager of the Ahsania Mission Drug Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Jashore, received the awards on behalf of the organisation. ...
