, May 26 -- A day after a devastating fire tore through the Kalshi slum in the capital, survivors were seen sifting through the charred remains of their homes on Tuesday (May 26), searching desperately for anything that could still be salvaged.

The blaze has reduced entire clusters of makeshift dwellings to ashes, destroying homes, furniture, and everyday essentials of multiple families.
