Cox's Bazar, March 1 -- year-old man who sustained burn injuries in a fire following an explosion at an LPG filling station in the Kolatoli area of Cox's Bazar district town died on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Abu Taher Siraj. He died at around 6:45 pm while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, said Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, resident physician of the institute.

He said Siraj had been admitted to the ICU at around 8:30 am on Friday with 90 percent burns.
