Dhaka, July 13 -- run auto-rickshaw drivers on Sunday blocked the main road in front of the BRTA office in Banani, crippling traffic movement along the Uttara-Mohakhali route that caused huge sufferings to the commuters.

The drivers mostly from the city's outskirts demand that they be allowed to operate across the capital city. Currently, they are not permitted to operate in the capital city.
