, Feb. 12 -- Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Thursday cast his vote at the Gulshan Model School and College centre in the capital.

He arrived at the polling centre in the morning and exercised his franchise amid tight security around 10:30 am.

The voting began at 7:30 am with voters lining up at polling stations across the country to elect their representatives.
