Dhaka, Aug. 12 -- The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) on Wednesday recommended approval of two procurement proposals, including one for additional supplies for relocating and re-establishing IT infrastructure at Customs House, Chattogram.

The recommendations were made at a CCGP meeting held at the Bangladesh Secretariat with Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury in the chair.

Under the first proposal, the committee recommended additional supplies under Package-6 (Lot-1) for the relocation, reinstallation and commissioning of the existing Modular Data Centre (MDC), Local Area Network (LAN), network infrastructure and related IT infrastructure of Customs House, Chattogram, as well as ensuring service continuity.
