, Jan. 8 -- A case has been filed against five to six people in connection with the murder of Swechchhasebak Dal leader Azizur Rahman Musabbir near Bashundhara City in the capital on Wednesday night.
Tejgaon Police Station OC Kaisainu said Suraiya Begum, wife of the victim, filed the case on Thursday morning.
Azizur Rahman Musabbir, former member secretary of Dhaka City North Swechchhasebak Dal, the volunteer wing of BNP, was shot dead and another man Sufian Byapari Masud, 42,was injured when miscreants opened fire on them in the area on Wednesday night.
The injured man was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), police said.
