Dhaka, April 8 -- The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday approved in principle a total of six proposals, prioritising strategic imports and landmark infrastructure projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to secure energy supplies, public health, and national connectivity.

The approvals came from the 9th meeting of the committee held at the Parliament complex with Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury in the chair.

According to the Cabinet Division, the proposals from three ministries and divisions were placed and discussed in the meeting, and all were recommended in principle for approval.
