, Jan. 5 -- A condolence message sent by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus over the death of BNP Chairperson and three-time former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was handed over to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Monday.

Chief Adviser's Private Secretary Shazeeb M Khairul Islam delivered the message to Tarique at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan.

In the message, Professor Yunus expressed deep sorrow and grief at the death of Begum Khaleda Zia, describing her as a symbol of the country's democratic movement.

He prayed for the salvation of her departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to her bereaved family, party leaders, activists, and supporters.
