Dhaka, Aug. 23 -- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), the country's premier engineering university, will face five hours of scheduled load shedding every day amid the ongoing energy crisis.

According to a notice issued by the BUET Chief Engineer's Office, Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd (DPDC) has informed the university of the load-shedding schedule due to a shortage of electricity supply.

The notice lists five separate one-hour power cuts, from 6:00-7:00am, 10:00-11:00am, 2:00-3:00pm, 12:00-1:00am and 3:00-4:00am.
