Chapainawabganj, Sept. 13 -- India's Border Security Force (BSF) has handed over 10 Bangladeshis to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) following their rescue from the Padma River after a boat carrying 12 passengers capsized in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Saturday.

They were handed over to BGB around 10:00pm on Saturday at the Faridpur border following a company commander-level flag meeting between the two border forces.

Lieutenant Colonel Kazi Mustafizur Rahman, commanding officer of 53 BGB Battalion, said members of Khandua BSF Camp rescued the 10 Bangladeshis from the Padma after the boat capsized and informed BGB of the incident.
