Dhaka, June 28 -- The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on Sunday concluded a four-day training programme for employees of merchant banks and portfolio management firms operating in the capital market, aimed at enhancing their understanding of the commission's existing laws, rules and regulations.

A total of 208 participants from various merchant banks and portfolio manager institutions attended the training across four batches held on June 21, 23, 25 and 28, organised under the initiative of the BSEC.
