Dhaka, Aug. 5 -- Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) authorities have formed a five-member investigation committee to look into Monday's clash between activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir on the campus that left at least 10 people injured.

The committee was formed on Tuesday night with Associate Professor Md Masud Rana, director of the university's Public Relations Department, as its convener.

Ferdous Rahman, registrar (additional charge) at the university, said the committee was not given a specific deadline but was asked to submit its report as soon as possible.
