Dhaka, July 25 -- British fintech company VALT has officially commenced operations in Bangladesh. The inauguration ceremony was held in Sylhet on Saturday (25 July), where Khaled Ahmed, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, formally launched the company's local operations. Senior officials from commercial banks and members of the local business community attended the event.

Speaking at the event, company representatives said that VALT, a wholly owned subsidiary of UK-based VALT Holdings Limited, provides payment solutions and Point-of-Sale (POS) services to the hospitality industry in the United Kingdom.
