Bodies of 2 Bangladeshis to arrive from Lebanon early Sunday
Dhaka, June 7 -- The bodies of two Bangladeshi expatriates killed in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon last month are scheduled to arrive in Dhaka early Sunday, according to the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut.
The deceased were identified as Shafiqul Islam, son of Afsar Ali and Ajea Khatun of Valuka Chandpur in Satkhira Sadar upazila, and Md Nahidul Islam Nahid, son of Md Abdul Kader and Nurnahar Khatun of Kadakati in Ashashuni upazila of Satkhira district.
The two expatriates were killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Jibdin area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon on May 11.
