Dhaka, Oct. 25 -- BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed on Saturday said BNP will create posts for religious teachers in the country's primary schools if the party gets the chance to form the government.
"If Allah and people give us the responsibility to run the government, we will create posts at the primary level for teaching religion and ethics in a country where 90 per cent of the population is Muslim and ensure proper recruitment, Inshallah," he said.
Salahuddin made the remarks while speaking at a national seminar organised by the National Values Preservation Council at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.
