Dhaka, Aug. 17 -- BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan on Sunday said his party sees no possibility of deteriorating the law and order during the upcoming national election as the political parties would play a positive role to maintain electoral atmosphere.

"Other contesting political parties have a responsibility during the election. We must also ensure that the law and order situation does not worsen. I believe that we and other political parties participating in the election share the same mindset. So, we do not see any possibility of deteriorating law and order," he said.
