Dhaka, Nov. 7 -- BNP on Thursday reaffirmed its full commitment to implementing the "July National Charter", signed on October 17, and urged all political parties not to raise new issues or create crises that could hinder the upcoming election.
The party made its position clear on the ongoing political debate over the July Charter's implementation after a virtual meeting of its National Standing Committee, held with Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in the chair.
A press release signed by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the decisions made at the meeting.
