Dhaka, Oct. 11 -- BNP leader Engineer Ishraque Hossain, son of former city mayor late Sadeque Hossain Khoka, has formally started a new chapter in his life by getting engaged to Barrister Nusrat Khan.

The simple engagement ceremony took place on Friday night at the residence of Nusrat's father, former minister Advocate Nur Muhammad Khan, in Baridhara, where the bride and groom exchanged rings.

Talking to UNB, Nur Muhammad Khan said, "My eldest daughter Nusrat Khan received her engagement ring last night as she begins a new journey in life. We urge all to pray for them and bless the couple."
