Dhaka, Oct. 14 -- Biman Bangladesh Airlines will consider increasing the number of flights between Bangladesh and Italy after adding new aircraft to its fleet, said Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat on Wednesday.

"Biman Bangladesh Airlines currently operates six flights a week between Bangladesh and Italy. Considering the convenience of the large number of expatriates living in Europe, plans will be made to increase the number of flights after new aircraft are added to the fleet," he said.

The minister made the remarks responding to a proposal made by Italian Ambassador to Bangladesh Antonio Alessandro during a meeting at Secretariat.
