, Jan. 4 -- Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited has announced the suspension of its regular flights on Dhaka-Manchester-Dhaka route from February 1, 2026.

The airline's board of directors took the decision due to a shortage of aircraft, the upcoming Hajj flights operations, the need for long time maintenance of existing aircraft, and to ensure optimal aircraft utilisation and operational efficiency across its network, said a press release.

Biman said passengers booked on the Dhaka-Manchester-Dhaka route will be provided necessary assistance in line with the airline's existing policies including flight date changes, alternative travel via the Dhaka-London-Dhaka route, ticket refunds and other related services.
