, Aug. 11 -- Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Polish fashion retailer LPP S.A. have issued a joint statement clarifying an ongoing dispute over claims involving invoices of FES Retail and reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a stable sourcing partnership in Bangladesh.

In the statement issued Tuesday, the two organizations said they share a common interest in ensuring legal certainty, protecting employees and maintaining stable business operations and future expansion in Bangladesh.
