Dhaka, June 16 -- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has rejected what it described as misleading and speculative reports regarding the recently concluded 57th Director General-level conference between BGB and India's Border Security Force (BSF), saying the discussions and outcomes were properly documented through established diplomatic procedures.

In a statement issued on Monday, BGB said certain individuals and a small number of media outlets had been spreading confusion by presenting assumptions, incomplete analyses and comments that do not reflect the actual proceedings of the conference.
