Dhaka, Nov. 3 -- Bangladesh will host its first-ever AI business summit on November 5, bringing together policymakers, entrepreneurs and investors to promote the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across the country's industrial and commercial sectors.

The announcement was made at a press conference held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The "Bangladesh AI Business Summit 2026" will be jointly organised by the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) and the Ministry of Science and Technology at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Agargaon.

President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has consented to attend the inaugural session as the chief guest.
