Dhaka, Sept. 14 -- Bangladesh has opened a new avenue for exporting electric vehicle (EV) bikes to Oman after Piton Industries Limited and Oman's Star Drones (Modern Star Businesses LLC) signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday.

The deal was signed at the venue lounge of Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 at the Novo Theatre in the city, in the presence of Anwar Hossain, the secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, according to a press release.

Impressed by the quality of Bangladeshi products and the talent of young entrepreneurs showcased at the fair, the visiting Omani delegation announced the investment and partnership.
