Dhaka, Oct. 10 -- made garment (RMG) export earnings grew by 6.10 percent year-on-year to reach US $10.58 billion during the first quarter (July-September) of the fiscal year 2026-27, according to data released by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

During the July-September period, the European Union (EU) remained the single largest export destination for Bangladeshi apparel, accounting for 46.36 percent of total RMG exports. Earnings from the EU market stood at $4.90 billion, registering a positive year-on-year growth of 3.33 percent.
