Sangsad Bhaban, June 22 -- Industries Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir on Monday told Parliament that Bangladesh currently has 64 products registered as Geographical Indication (GI) products.

He disclosed the information while responding to a starred question from ruling party lawmaker Md Abul Kalam (Comilla-9).

Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad tabled the question during question-and-answer session at the outset of the day's business started at 3:00pm.
