, July 11 -- Bangladesh has highlighted the importance of climate resilience, water security, skills development and innovation-driven industrialisation in accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development at the UN Headquarters in New York.

Speaking at the forum, Principal Coordinator (SDG Affairs) at the Prime Minister's Office Professor Dr S M Abdul Awal said Bangladesh has long prioritised climate adaptation and sustainable water management.
