Bangladesh Embassy in Ireland begins operations
Dhaka, Oct. 1 -- The Embassy of Bangladesh in Ireland formally began its operations on Thursday.
The establishment of the mission marks an important milestone in the development of Bangladesh-Ireland relations and is expected to further strengthen bilateral engagement between the two countries, according to a press release.
The embassy has initially commenced its administrative functions from a temporary Chancery Office at Alexandra House in the diplomatic area of Ballsbridge, Dublin.
Ambassador-designate Mohammed Nore Alam assumed charge of the mission on Thursday.
He is expected to present his Letters of Credence to the President of Ireland in due course.
