Dhaka, Sept. 20 -- State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir on Sunday expressed confidence that Bangladesh-China relations would continue to grow in the coming days.

He expressed the confidence when Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen paid a farewell call on the State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The State Minister appreciated the Ambassador's role in strengthening Bangladesh-China relations.

He said that the Ambassador's work in Bangladesh had received tremendous visibility and appreciated his contribution to the successful visit of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to China.
