Dhaka, June 27 -- Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman on Saturday said Bangladesh's relations with China elevated to the highest level of bilateral cooperation - Bangladesh-China community with a shared future.

"This is the highest step in terms of China's bilateral engagement," said the Foreign Minister while describing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's just-concluded visits to Malaysia and China.

He stressed that photos and videos show how his stay in Malaysia and China depicted the importance of Bangladesh, strengthening Dhaka's ties with Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.

Leaders of the two countries agreed to build a China-Bangladesh community with a shared future in the new era.
