Dhaka, July 26 -- Bangladesh and the Maldives on Sunday discussed ways to further strengthen relations between the two countries through enhanced cooperation in migration and expatriate welfare, tourism, education, health, the blue economy, and maritime connectivity.

Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman held a bilateral meeting with Maldivian Foreign Minister Iruthisham Adam in Male and exchanged views on possible high-level visits and the establishment of a direct shipping link to facilitate bilateral trade and connectivity.
