Dhaka, Oct. 8 -- The fifth edition of the three-day Bangla Medical Expo began at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka Thursday, with organisers promising a showcase of the latest medical technologies, products and innovations from around the world.

Running until October 10, the Bangla Med Expo is expected to serve as a key platform for buying and selling medical, surgical, diagnostic and research laboratory equipment in Bangladesh, organisers said.

Positioning itself as a major hub for international procurement, the expo brings together scientists, dealers, distributors, importers, retailers and other key buyer groups under one roof.
