Kushtia, Feb. 27 -- 3 MP and Islamic speaker Mufti Amir Hamza said he will take charge of all matters in Kushtia, including the medical college and hospital.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting of the Kushtia Medical College Hospital management committee on Thursday, he said, "I have received written complaints about the medical college and Sadar hospital. I told them these must be fixed. At first, they admitted their mistakes and apologised. They said some issues were beyond their control. It feels like no one is in charge here. Now I am in charge.
