Sirajganj, July 6 -- Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter on Saturday said for the sustainable development of the livestock and dairy sector, it is important to formulate a national policy to determine fair price of milk.

"Farmers work very hard to raise cattle, but they are not receiving fair prices for their milk. Additionally, the cost of cattle feed has increased significantly. It is essential to determine fair prices and take measures to reduce costs in order to address these issues sustainably," she said.
