, April 4 -- Surgeons at Medilab (Pvt.) Hospital and Trauma Center in Shahrashti Upazila of Chandpur successfully removed a massive 8.2-kilogram tumor from a woman's abdomen on Friday.

The operation was conducted by the hospital chairman and surgeon, Dr. Md. Arif Ul Hasan. Family members of the patient, a 45-year-old woman from a village in neighboring Kachua Upazila (alias: Rokeya Begum), said she had been experiencing abnormal abdominal weight and pain for the past three to four months.
