, July 7 -- Six fishermen have remained missing since Sunday after a fishing trawler carrying 11 fishermen capsized in the Bay of Bengal off the coast of Rangabali upazila in Patuakhali district.

Those who went missing are Imadul Kha, 45, of Tularam village, Harun, 60, of Kharida village under Panpatti Union, Forkan, 45, Sayed, 20, and Al-Amin, 40, of Adani village under Gajalia Union, and Akkas, 25, of Pakshia village in Golachipa Sadar Union.

Those who retuned alive, said the trawler, owned by Imadul Sikder of Kharida village, carrying 11 fishermen capsized in the Bay of Bengal on Sunday night, around 60 kilometres south of Moudubi area of the coastal upazila while the fishermen were catching fish in the deep sea due to strong current...
