CHANDPUR, Sept. 28 -- District police have detained 370 people during a special drive launched across eight upazilas of Chandpur district targeting juvenile delinquency and teen gangs.

The operation was started on Sunday evening across key crime-prone areas under the direction and guidance of the Chittagong Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, involving personnel from all police stations and the Detective Branch (DB).

Md. Mizanur Rahman, Chandpur Superintendent of Police (SP) and Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Nadia Noor said investigators discovered ties to drug abuse and online gambling among several detainees.
