, Aug. 23 -- Bangladesh has added three more factories to its growing list of LEED-certified industrial facilities, bringing the total to 261.
Of the total certified factories, 109 have achieved Platinum, 133 Gold, and 15 Silver certification under the globally recognized green building rating system, said Mohiuddin Rubel, former Director of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
The newly certified factories are Faisal Spinning Mills Limited Units 1, 2, and 3, located in Nayapara, Saihamnagar, Madhabpur, Habiganj.
