Chattogram, July 7 -- Three flights scheduled to land at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport were unable to do so on Tuesday due to inclement weather caused by torrential rains.

Of the three, two international flights were diverted to Dhaka, while a domestic flight returned to the capital after failing to land in Chattogram, said Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, public relations officer of Shah Amanat International Airport.

US-Bangla Airlines flight BS-350 from Abu Dhabi and Air Arabia flight G9-526 from Sharjah were diverted to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka due to the bad weather, he said.
