Dhaka, March 5 -- A total of 210 flights have been cancelled at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport till Thursday following airspace closures by Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan due to the escalating security situation in the Middle East.
The flight cancellations over the past days are as follows: 23 on February 28, 40 on March 1, 46 on March 2, 39 on March 3, and 28 on March 4, 2026.
On Mar 5, 2026 (after 0000 LT), airlines including Qatar Airways, Kuwait Airways, Emirates, Air Arabia, US-Bangla, Gulf Air, Flydubai, and Jazeera Airways reported a total of 34 cancellations.
