, April 26 -- Two Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinees were killed in a road accident in the 300 Feet Jalsiri area of Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj on Sunday.
The accident occurred around 12 noon when their motorcycle lost control and collided with a private car, leaving the two youths critically injured.
They were later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where they died while undergoing treatment.
The deceased were identified as Rifat, son of Amir Hossain of Banchharampur upazila in Brahmanbaria, and Sabbir, son of Nur Islam from the same area. Both were HSC candidates.
Sabbir was a student of Khilgaon Model College, while Rifat studied at Banchharampur Degree College, sources said.
