Sylhet, July 27 -- month-old baby has died at Shaheed Dr Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital in Sylhet with measles-like symptoms after a three-day gap in reported deaths from the disease.

The deceased was identified as Raihan, son of Ershad Mia of Salutikar area in Gowainghat upazila of Sylhet.

With the latest death, the number of people who have died in Sylhet division with confirmed and suspected measles-related deaths have risen to 109.

Of them, four deaths have been confirmed as measles-related, while the others died with suspected symptoms, according to a report from the Department of Health's Sylhet office issued on Monday.
